Since Bandura put forward the sense of self—efficacy in 1977,the researchers have been extensively studying it for twenty years. The research on the sense of self-efficacy draws more and more social attention. By searching the literature, we find that at present the researches about the sense of self-efficacy at home and abroad mostly focus on the influence or forecast of self-efficacy on the individual and on discussing the essential function or structure and so on. The researches on the influential factors of the sense of self-efficacy are very little, especially the systemic research. The research takes the middle school students of shanghai as subjects and discusses the influential factors on the self-efficacy. Because of the middle school students not entering the society, the research selects the influences of family and school factors. The family factors include family structure, parenting style, school age of parents, earning of parents and so on. The school factors include lesson aspect, routine aspect, peer relationships aspect, teacher-student aspect and self aspect. The results of research are as follows: (1) parenting style, school age of parents , earning of parents, lesson aspect, routine aspect, peer relationships aspect, teacher-student aspect and other factors such as whether or not shanghai natives ,age, grade bring significant effect to the sense of self — efficacy .(2)gender, whether or not singleton, family structure, routine aspect, self aspect bring no significant effect to the sense of self— efficacy.
