A Study Of The Yicheng Dialect

This thesis makes a particular description of the Yicheng county Zhongwei dialect and analyzes and discusses it.In phonolgy, describe the phonetic system and its features,and discuss the characteristics of the colloquial and literary in Yicheng dialect from the relationship between it and the Jin dialects angle.In vocabulary, I mainly collected some folk-custom words which possess the distinct characteristic features of this area, including agriculture,housing and instrument,the events of bless and funeral, personality and so on.In grammar, discuss the usages of the demonstratives pronouns in the Yicheng dialect,and find the feature of the trichotomy of demonstratives pronouns; analyze the function of " 了 ".Though the Yicheng County is located in Shanxi province,it was classified the Fenhe subgroup subsumed under the Zhongyuan Mandarin because of lacking the entering tone.This thesis attempts comparing the difference between it and the Jinyu,the Zhongyuan Mandarin and discusses its adscription.we hope it contributed for disposing the grouping of the Shanxi dialecets more reasonablely.
