Dialect is a variant or variant of a language which is used by a specific language group and is different from other language groups. It also has a complete system of speech, grammar and vocabulary.When creating the literary works,the author use particular dialect for certain stylistic effects. For example, novels use dialects to depict characters and features, and prompt background. However, dialect of literary text analysis contributes to the understanding of the literature world. Compared with the dialect of the salty mirror first study, the integration of Hamgyong dialect within the circle of the writer’s works as the research object of literature and language learning has not yet been active. Therefore this paper takes short stories before liberation by ChangJie Jin for an example, examining the features of Hamgyong dialect in the works. The gist of the thesis are summarized as follows:Firstly, exam the effects of ChangJie Jin novel Hamgyong dialect phonology, characteristics. Mainly of rhythm and syllable alternating, abbreviation, repeater, shedding phenomena of sound change were specifically analyzed.Secondly, we study the grammatical features of Hamgyong dialect in ChangJie Jin’s novel. Mainly specific analysis of usage body of said suffix and words suffix usage. Body language suffix further case suffix words and word subsidies, plural particle, said suffix further points to end the suffix, the continuation suffix, provisions of suffix, suffix modification, suffix, said particles, honorific particles.The final inspection is about the lexical features of Hamgyong dialect in ChangJie jin novel, especially analyzing inherent lexical, characters and words, foreign words, and mixed words.Through the above, we can analyze and summarize the features of Hamgyong dialect in ChangJie Jin’s novel. Comparing the synchronic angle with Hamgyong dialect characteristics, a greater amount of variance in the shape can be seen. From comparison of the angle and the Medieval Languages, using more archaic form can be seen.
