The development of the relations between U.S and Egypt before World War â…¡ was very limited. American's influence was infiltrated to Egypt by using assistance after World War â…¡. The key to the two goals of Eisenhower Administration, protecting the oil supplies and secure a peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors, lie in Egypt. This text mainly inquired into the development, restricted elements and influences of U.S policy towards Egypt and American-Egyptian relations of Eisenhower Administration. The whole text was divided into four parts. The first part: It carried on the authenticate of concept, main introduction of domestic and international research dynamic state and the problem that it existed. The second part: It was the main text point, elaborated the historical development of U.S policy towards Egypt and American-Egyptian relations. From "rope in" to "chide" and then "rope in" again, was the key of U.S policy towards Egypt in different times. At the found action that the second part discussed on, the third part talks about the restricted elements of U.S Policy towards Egypt from four perspectives: the interest of the two countries, the leader's ideology, international environment and the complex and changeable situation of the Middle East. The fourth Part: Analysis the influences of U.S policy towards Egypt and American-Egypt relations from three perspectives: the influences towards the U.S, the U.S-Israel relations and the Egypt. By all these analyses, this text intend to clarify that the Eisenhower administration still wanted to cooperate with Egypt, and therefore, although there were much trouble between America and Egypt, the relations of the two countries didn't break down.
