Feng Minchang(1747-1806),born in Qinzhou in Guangxi, he get into the government through the highest examination at 32 years.He has been worked in central authorities and in the national library for many years. Then he began his life of travel. In about 7 years,he traveled most of country,include many famous mountains,rivers and historical sites,which open up his field of visio and mind. Hu Yichang,Zhang Jinfang and him was called three poems of Lingnan,he is not only the famous poet of Guangdong Guangxi but also of all the country.He is a model gentleman,loyal official and a warm-hearted social activist.Feng's poets, characterized by straightforward and nature, is the fruit of his life in government and traveling. His poets are his biography ,he also descripts his idea,surroundings of middle Qing dynasty.He learns from predecessors,not conservative. His poets are fresh, elegant, degradation, and have historical connotation.
