This thesis,by means of some theories such as the fusion psychology of literature and art,the literary dissemination study, the explanation study and the receptive aesthetics ,from three new angles of view :"the Personality theory ", "the recollection", "the dissemination and acceptance", realizes the unique charm and proves the value of Xiao-shan Ci in the history of the Ci-poetry.Xiaoshan-Ci constructes an esthetic world pure, approaching to holy. It expresses "the personality" and displays the self-emotion sincerely and naturally. Its composition is quite flexible and various, beyond the limit of the rule. Moreover, its simple language is pretty natural, like floating clouds and running streams. Therefore, it is without any exaggeration to say the Ci is the literature authentically, individually and purely. "The recollection" in Xiao-shan Ci has unique esthetic charm. Here, "the recollection" has close relation with the author's own social status-a noble in decline, his naive personality and his intimate contact with the singers and dancers of humble origin. "The recollection" may divide into two types, namely, the dual juxtaposition and the interwoven of the present and the past image. "Recollection" has a unique influence on the depth of the expression, the width of the space and time and the sublimation of the aesthetic conception. Xiaoshan-Ci received a wide dissemination in Song Dynasty and was highly praised. What's more, numerous Ci-writers and aestheticians, from Song Dynasty down to Qing Dynasty, appreciated, imitated, selected and included, evaluated it unceasingly. Its value underwent ups and downs, along with the prevailing custom and the change of the Ci concept. Therefore, we can safely say that the history of Xiao-shan Ci is also the miniature of the whole history of the Ci-poetry.
