Francesco Petrarch lived in the later mediaeval period in Italy, at that time the Christianity was very widespread, and many people believed in the Christian religion in Italy. Keeping close relationship with the Christianity was the very important part of Petrarch's life and acquainting the relationship between Petrarch and the Christianity can help us to understand Petrarch all-around.Through this essay, we can find out that the relationship between Petrarch and the Christianity involved different aspects of Petrarch's life. Keeping an intimate relationship with the Christianity of various classes was Petrarch's major interpersonal relationship. Obtaining the church post and accepting the subsidization from many significant characters in the church were the major financial sources which Petrarch depended on. In Petrarch's spirit, the early Christianity faith was the most reasonable and he accepted the early Christianity faith rather than the later Christianity faith. Letting the supreme organization of the Christianity move to Rome was his last hope in Petrarch's life and he tried his best to realize the aim.At the end of the paper, I listed three different kinds of views about Petrarch's religious belief that have developed by scholars after Petrarch's death. I agree with the third one.
