The Relation Between Japan And Taiwan Province After Cold War

There are some new tendencies for the relation between Japan and Taiwan province after Cold War. It has extended from economic and cultural field to political and military field, which results from the internal and external factors of Japan and Taiwan. The history and reality of Japan and Taiwan are fundamental factors. The external environment which includes international background, Northeast Asian Situation and US involvement also make great influence on it. The internal and external factors make great effects on Japan-Taiwan relation after Cold War. We should have correct recognition of this result, make clear the developing tendency, and work out corresponding policy: Give a bold blow to "Taiwan-separatism" force; promote economic integration across the strait and build "the common market between the mainland of China and Taiwan"; strengthen media propaganda and cultural communication with Japan; increase economic relation with Japan.
