The Research To The Preposition System Of "Han Fei Zi"

This article belongs to the special book grammar research. The special book grammar research is Chinese grammar history research foundation. Choosing and studying right the book which is significant and able to reflect the language characteristics at that time is the major and foundation work of Chinese grammar history research. "Han fei zi" is an important ancient book in Warring States last stage.The language of it can represent the language general appearance of the right period .However, the research on "Han fei zi" is fragmentary and individual at present. The comprehensive, systematically researching articles about the preposition of "Han Fei Zi" haven't to be seen yet. And this is the article which carries on the comprehensive description and the research to the preposition system of "Han Fei Zi" on the first time. Based on the static description and approached with the integration of quantitative analysis and qualitative investigation, the thesis is a minute and almost exhaustive study of the twenty four prepositions. It describes the aspect of the preposition's system and semantic, grammatical function of each preposition in "Han fei zi". The emphatic part is the research of those frequently used prepositions. By doing this, the present study attempts to lay a foundation for researching the preposition's system and its development in the history of Chinese.
