A Study On The Prepositions In Mengzizhangju By Zhaoqi

The preposition is extremely important in Chinese vocabulary, to which the research has been paid attention since long time. Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi is the Eastern Han language Subcommentary important corpus. It represents the language of the Eastern Han Dynasty, more akin to verbal language can be used as study of the Eastern Han Dynasty corpus. Eastern Han Dynasty in Chinese history are in the era of medieval Chinese period.There is a significant difference to the ancient Chinese before the pre-Qin period. Thus the Study on the Prepositions in Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi is extremely important. In the ancient period the research on it did not form as systematical theory, so the preposition of that time is of valuable importance to be studied.On the basis of the other previous studies,the thesis is intended to make an exhaustive,systematic and detailed study on the prepositions in the book of Mengzizhangju by ZhaoqiThe thesis is divided into four chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction .It introduces Zhaoqi and the book of Mengzizhangju, the topics of research value, this study methods and the choice of the research Status.Chapter 2: Definition and classification of the Prepositions.Reply to function, prepositions is different from conjunctions. The preposition is mainly come from the verb nominal,and because of the different levels of virtual, preposition disputes with the verb has been unclear. Therefore, in this paper before the commencement, it is necessary to establish defined set Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi preposition standards, Thus,the definition discusses the standards of the preposition, the distinction between verbs and prepositions,the distinction between Prepositions and conjunctions, Mengzizhangju overview of the preposition. Then,Prepositions are introduced preposition classification criteria for the classification to determine Mengzizhangju Prepositions classification.Chapter 3:the analyse of the Prepositions in Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi.By means of a thorough investigation,quantitative research and qualitative analysis,the thesis aims at giving a detailed descriptions of the prepositions from two aspects:semantic function ,grammatical function. The prepositions which the thesis attempts to probe into include: Yu(於),Yi(以),Yu(与),Wei(为),Zi(自),Cong(从),Dang(当),Ji(及),Yong(用),You(由),Yu(于),Zhi(至),Zhiyu(至於),Yin(因),Hu(乎),Yuan(缘),Xun(循),An(案),Lin(临),Daizhi(逮至),Zai(在),Zicong(自从).In accordance with the semantic function of the preposition, the concrete will preposition usage eight classes: The introduction of the premises of action; movements of the introduction of the time with the introduction of action (including tools, based approach, etc.); introduction of the purpose of the act movements, causes, results of the introduction of the object moves; compared to introduce the subject of importing actions of the initiative; introduced range. In accordance with the grammatical function of the preposition, from the following four aspects inspected:(1) According to Jiebin words and phrases predicate Centre relations, as well as the location of the syntactic elements,all preposition usage is divided into: Jiebin phrase used in the predicate before the adverbial phrase Centre; Jiebin phrase used in the predicate phrase after phrase complement Centre.(2) According to the preposition and the location of objects it can be divided into: a preposition before the object and the object can occur after the preposition.(3) According to the composition of the preposition object it can be divided into: the introduction of tici components and the introduction of weici components.(4) According to the omission of the preposition object it can be divided into: objects can be omitted object of the preposition and objects cannot be omitted object of the preposition.Chapter 4: Conclusion.Through the analyses and descriptions on the prepositions in Mengzizhangju, conclusion was summarized and given. There are 22 prepositions in Mengzizhangju,which conclude 19 Monosyllabic preposition and 3 double-syllable preposition. We list files of type according to semantics function, grammar function respectively: Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi preposition semantic function distribution tables and Mengzizhangju by Zhaoqi preposition grammatical function distribution tables, which show the use situations and characteristics of the prepositions in Mengzizhangju by directly.
