Research Of "对" Construction In Official Documents

"对"construction ,a widely—applied style in official documents ,is more frequently employed than other common styles .As an independent sentence pattern ,it has unique grammatical and semantic characteristic .Under the influence of"对"phrase ,different components of"对"constructions ,especially the predications ,embody distinct grammar and semantic features .At the same time ,the relations between different sentence structures show up diversity and complexity .Under the guide of"three plane"theory ,this article attempt to explore the"对"construction in official documents .Based on former intellectuals achievements ,this article will investigate the"对"construction from syntax ,semantics and pragmatics perspective .The chapter 1 defines and explains what is official documents and"对"construction .Moreover ,it discusses the extensive service conditions of"对"construction and analyzes the reasons behind this phenomenon .The chapter 2 not only investigates the structure of the"对"constructions including the classification of the subjects and the"对"phrases ,but also discusses the selective feature of the predication in"对"constructions .In addition ,it also analyzes the position and the pattern of the"对"phrases in the"对"constructions .In the following chapter ,the pattern and the classification of the"对"construction ,as well as the pragmatics of the"对"construction have been discussed .The chapter 4 makes some comparison among some groups of prepositions and some sentence patterns concerning with the"对"constructions ,such as the comparison between"对"and other prepositions , the comparison between the"对"construction and the declarative sentences which have the similar meaning .After the investigation above ,this article not only tries to generalize the concrete traits of"对"construction from semantics and pragmatics aspects especially some in official documents ,but also strives to build up a distinct theory frame .At the same time ,it aims to make further research on the usage of"对"constructions ,and promotes the research on"对"constructions in the combined fields of sentence structure and text style ,making some contribution to the former intellectual achievements .What is more ,the objective of the whole investigation is to lay a foundation for the future study and give some valuable suggestion on how to apply the"对"construction correctly .
