In the modern era, the pressure people feel is more and more as the competition is increasingly fierce, especially working stress of knowledge worker. Many research find that working stress will influence the organizational commitment of the employees. The study is trying to find whether there is a relationship between the working stress and organizational commitment. Besides, the study takes the psychological empowerment as the mediator and explores if there is a mediating effect between working stress and organizational commitment. Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire and Job Stress Questionnaire are used to investigate344knowledge workers and SPSS19.0, L1SREL8.70are used to analysis data. Results of the study appear below:(1) The results of independent sample T test and variance analysis of three variables on population variables indicate that psychological empowerment of different gender, age, education, post and working time is significant different. Organizational commitment of different enterprises type and post is significant different. Working stress of different gender, age, working time and post is significant different.(3) Correlation analysis shows that on the whole there is positive correlation between psychological empowerment and organizational commitment, a negative correlation between psychological empowerment and working stress, negative correlation between organizational commitment and working stress. But there is a positive correlation between economic commitment and factors of working stress.(4) Stepwise regression analysis shows that dimensions of meaning and impact of psychological empowerment have significant regression effects on organizational commitment, dimensions of meaning of psychological empowerment has a significant regression effect on working stress. Stress of professional career, stress of knowledge and technology and stress of organization and work itself have significant regression effects on psychological empowerment.(5) Psychological empowerment has a mediating effect between working stress and organizational commitment.
