The Phonology Of Huiyinmiaowu And Its Changes

Huiyinmiaowu is a rhyming dialect dictionary by HuangQian in Qing Dynasty .In this book there are phonetics and glossary of Quanzhou dialect before 200 years ago. Mr. Hongweiren pointed out that the book have great importance for researching Quanzhou dialect.To today academic just conceived the phonetics of Huiyinmiaowu and only Hongweiren studied the book from simultaneity. Nobody studied it from language evolution. This paper points out some standpoints on development of phonetics in Huiyinmiaowu.Our paper studies Huiyinmiaowu by the means of statistic, description and contrast.There are four parts of the paper:First,introduce the author, edition of Huiyinmiaowu and the relation between Huiyinmiaowu and other books about Min dialect.Second,conceive the phonetics system of Huiyinmiaowu, consider that Huiyinmiaowu is the representative of the Nan an dialect which is in the south of Quanzhou.Third,analyse the development of phonetics in Huiyinmiaowu and find the rules of it:phonetic combines ,vowel became higher and more back.At the same time,study the history levels of the phonetic development and research the different phonetics in spoken language and writting form language,think that there are some changes in quantity only.Fouth,pack up the same sounds of Huiyinmiaowu and record the different sounds in spoken language and writting form language.
