Among Chinese modern prose writers, Liang Yuchun was a special one. He translated a lot of foreign essays; His essays creation was deeply inspired and influenced by English essays in form and spirit, especially by Lamb's essays. Chinese modern famous prose writer such as Luxun, ZhouZuoren, Lin Yutang, YuDafu translated English essays. For example, ZhouZuoren translated some essays of Wift Ellis, but the quantity was not as much as Liang Yuchun, and they also didn't specialize in English essays like Liang Yuchun. Liang mixed the translation to English essays with his essays creation in form and spirit. He combined his realization of the translation with the spirit of the time to form unique ideas such as moral character, democracy, idealism which his essays showed .He can make the common thing in the life that people pay no attention to into a masterpiece. He always wrote many articles to enlighten the people. From a new point of view, he talked about the old ideas. In his essays, he wrote about different things. By the way of comparing and contradiction, he analyzed them, showing a sense of humour, therefore his essays were interesting and funny. So he had won the title of "Chinese Elia".From the relationship between Liang's translation and his essays creation, we will compare Liang's essays with Lamb's essays to look into English essays how to influence Liang's essays in this thesis. From seeking Liang's unique mode of thinking and observation point, we expect to enlighten the successors constantly.
