Syntax Analysis Of The Meng Haoran's Modern-style Poetry

The language research of the Chinese classic poetry have been lagging behind the literary research from long time. For the long-term both occupy their own field, and one never blends the other. This thesis binds linguistics and poetics, researches and analyzes the syntax of modern-style poetry of the great poet Meng Haoran, and on the basis of the language, getting understood thoroughly the clue of the modern-style poetry, which belongs to the poetics.Meng Haoran (689-740), born in Xiangyang, is a distinguished poet in the early Tang Dynasty. He and Wang Wei were called"Wang-Meng", was one of representative people of rural poets in middle Tang Dynasty. He was also a poet to spend the rest of his life stealthily, but this was not his original idea. The number of poetry of Meng Haoran that could be found is 271, and the number of Five-characters Archaic Poems is 65, the number of Seven-characters Archaic Poems is 7, the number of Five-characters Versification is 166, the number of Seven-characters Versification is 4,the number of neoteric poetries that have only four sentences of Five-characters is 19,the number of neoteric poetries that have only four sentences of Seven-characters is 6, and the mumber of recovery from other books is 4. The number of neoteric poems is 199, accounted for 73 percentage of Meng Haoran's poems. The number of Five-characters neoteric poems is 190, accounted for 70 percentage of Meng Haoran's poems and 95 percentage of neoteric poems. And neoteric poems accounted for the majority of all Meng Haoran's poems.In this paper, the methods of exhaustive description and the mathematical statistics are used to study the types of syntactic structure and empty Words of the modern-style poetry of Meng Haoran. Then, all categories of types of syntactic structure and the number of the Empty Words that the Poems used are calculated, and the proportion of the number of each category to the number of all categories is accounted. The minor changes among the development of modern-style poetry are shown via the different proportions in this paper.It initates the metre of Qi-Liang, and haves a relation with the"Yong Ming-Form". It finalizes the design, establishes and gets prosperous. The modern-style poetry of Meng Haoran produce the initial stage of Sheng Tang, whose language leaks the clue of the modern-style poetry. The modern-style poetry of Meng Haoran has greatly expanded the representation of the modern-style poetry, via the use of large quantities of all kinds of syntactic structure and the Empty Words. This made the literary mode, which has the strict demands of words count, sentences count, rhyme, rhyme schemes and aspects of sentence, the more colorful forms of literature.
