Emmanuel Levinas is famous for his philosophy thinking of the Other, he put the Other first and demand to be responsible of the other people. Furthermore, he try to identity the idea of God through the relationship between me and the Other. The purpose of the thesis is trying to unscramble the book of Job in the Old Testament through the way of levinas's theory, and provides a new comment of the relationship of suffering and faith that knotted in the text. The whole idea is about that people are suffered not precisely for their own sin, but as a faithful and responsible man, one should first realize that the Other's responsibility is incumbent on me, thus as responsibility for what is not my deed, or for what does not even matter to me. In this sense, I am responsible for a total responsibility and the whole suffering which answers for all the others and for all in the others, even for their responsibility and suffering, this would be the only way that the justice and love could reign on earth. Meanwhile, in this thesis still hope that we could keep on thinking of the present living conditions under the theory of the Other.
