Under the background of globalization as well as the academic environment of the transfer from aesthetic research to the research of aesthetic culture and the trend of culture studies, aesthetic fashion, which is developing fast, has become the target of many scholars' research. Nevertheless, nowdays the research of aesthetic fashion is also as one of the leading topics in the research of aesthetic culture. As a kind of culture which has developed relatively maturely in western societies, contemporary aesthetic fashion also attracts more and more attention in China. Despite some ordinary studies of relative questions about this topic done by domestic scholars, the research of which is by far insufficient, for the social and cultural meaning of which is so complicated. In order to acquire more deep as well as accurate knowledge on the origin, dissemination and development of the contemporary aesthetic fashion, we need to pay more attention to the social and cultural environment of it; and then it would be better off for us to find out the real contemporary aesthetic fashion system. In my opinion,it will be a reasonable angle to do more relative research, and it is this point that is just the emphasis of the dissertation.This dissertation can be devided into six sections:Section I Introductory remarks: this section shows a brief introduction of the development of contemporary aesthetic fashion. Meanwhile, the research significance,the theoretical basis and the contemporary research condition are illustrated.Section II To diferentiate and analyze aesthetic fashion: on the basis of the respective and clear explanation of aesthetic judgment,fashion and the common aesthetic sense, I illustrate the concept of aesthetic fashion. Aesthetic fashion is the fashion that lead to aesthetic judge and provide perceptual mental satisfaction for people. It exists in the three forms of fashion---conceptual fashion, material fashion and behavioural fashion.Section III The research of consumer society: in this part, the study of the social background of contemporary aesthetic fashion is the focus. Moreover, the specific and respective analysis of how customer society formed on the base of the development of capitalism and how "consumption" develops in the aspects of concept, subject, object and status are discussed. In addition, the cultural characteristics of customer society i.e. the mutual permeation of consumption, commodity and culture, aesthetics, the spread of visual culture.Section IV The contemporary aesthetic fashion in consumer society: there is an detailed analysis of the revolving mechanism of contemporary aesthetic fashion, which is as cultural logic of consumer society. During this process, aesthetic fashion is made by manufacturer, then it is popularized through mass media by cultural medium, at last it is sold to different consumers as goods in markets. Thereafter, I discuss some relative questions of this topic, such as cultural psychological motive of aesthetic fashion and characteristics, contradictions of it.Section V The reseach of contemporary aesthetic fashion in China: according to the concrete situation in China, I make particular exploration of the social backgrounds and the development of domestic contemporary aesthetic fashion, which makes the basis of the next research to put forward some certain suggestions directed at some existing questions such as the inclinations of resorting to sense organ, turning into commence and coping the West, to the future development of contemporary aesthetic fashion in China.Section VI Conclusion...
