This paper explores the currently existing and potentially possible Christian influence on business and corporate culture today from both theoretical and empirical approaches.First, the paper briefly discusses the relationship between the economic well-being and religion. After clarifying the concept of corporate culture, this paper examines the core values and shared beliefs of some successful modern corporations in comparison with Christianity ideology. Then, management science is discussed within the context of Bible with an example from Nehemiah. After this, the ideas of stewardship and servant leadership, a fashion in leadership theories originated in the Bible, are discussed. Then the paper explores the Christian theological understanding of business and hence Christian work and business ethics, and a case is presented of a company carrying out ethical decision in line with Christian principles. Finally, both a statistic and a detailed case study of Christian-based companies are presented which affirm the influence of Christian factors in business and corporations. The paper concludes that the Christian influence on business and corporate culture is theoretically inherent as well as empirically significant. Christian factors can and should find their positive influence in business, both within corporations and on the business environment. They are salutary for a juvenile world with active and moral business activities.
