For over half a century, there have been more and diversified ways to criticize Qian Zhongshu's literal research. However, it is still rare in the literature circle to apply "anti-mythos" theory to probe into Qian's works. This thesis will adopt this theory to discuss the "anti-mythos" tendency of Qian's works. This thesis holds that Qian's literal works bear various "anti-mythos" colors which can be seen from the spirit and thought of his works and tactic of his writing. On the one hand, in terms of content, Qian's diction and connotation in his works tend to be "anti-mythological", so as to reveal all the ideological deceit and falsity. On the other, in terms of tactic of narration, Qian succeeded in dismantling and subverting the "myth" in his works by means of counter-theoretical thinking and narration. This thesis also holds that there are various elements that lead to Qian's "anti-mythological" creation, which includes his spirit of suspicion and criticism, his sense of comedy, his spirit of game, his taste of literature, his genius of creation, and his understanding of reality and civilian. Qian's "anti-mythological" writing is of great significance not only in literal and cultural criticism of literature, history and reality, but also in retrospecting the history and enlightening the future world.
