The dissertation consists of Introduction,Main Body,Conclusion and Reference.The Introduction is a brief treatment of the topic's framework,of the former knowledge and researches in this field,of the fresh approach. The Main Body is divided into three chapters.In Chapter1,section1,the music history of Chinease traditional opera in Ming Dynasty is examined.By the study,the writer inferences that the music of the traditional opera was originated among the common people,and it's the folk who created the music.And in the diffrent area there was diffrent music style .Section 2 the reason is explained for the music style between the diffrent area.The writer hold that: the tongue is the crucial key .Chapter 2 tackles the vocality theory of the ancient age.The thesis argues that the tradition about vocality had very deep influence on the opera's music creation.The singer always acted as a composer in fact and their teaching and study is only word-of-mouth at that time.It is also a kind of folk characterChapter 3 treats with the Nanqu and Beiqu .By thorough analysis of the general phenomenon of the most typical in Ming Dynasty,the thesis argues that there is a principle in the local opera's musical creation.that's transformation from a matrix.so ,as we know ,the melody of the music is variational.the principle is complements with Chinese cultural way in the field of local operas.The conclusion focuses on the character of the local opera's music. The character is folk not only in the Ming Dynasty but also all the ancient time.
