The research work to population health is facing either challenges or opportunities in today's world which is full of the tendency of globalization and technological reform. The concept of psychological health, a weighted index for population health, has increasingly been focused on by people around the world. According to scholars in home and abroad, the top ten killers to human health have all had something to do with psychological problems. In recent years, more and more people are feeling stressed out because many reasons including: cut-throat competition, fast pace life and work, confusions about their careers, uncertainties about the society in the future. Excessive working pressures tend to make passive changes in people's psychological, physical, and behaviors activities, which is not only very harmful to both psychological and physical health of employees but also a bad influence to the organization. Meanwhile, the sustainable development of employees is also threatened by their psychological problems. Population health is very important to economic and social developments, and both psychological and physical health condition are the fundamentals of employees' sustainable growth. Therefore, in order to solve population health problems, efforts should be taken to find out the relations between working pressures and psychological health, and understands the effects of working pressures to population health.Based on questionnaires survey and empirical research, this thesis analyzes the relations of knowledge workers' working pressures and psychological health in Beijing, how working pressures effect China's population health. By exploring which elements are more significant and the difference between them, the author tries to find out how to improve sustainable development of employees' psychological health and furthermore, push forward total performance of population health in China. The author researches various aspects of working pressure resources, finds out main elements of working pressures, and tests the influence of control variables to the relations between working pressures and psychological health. Based on the analysis data, the author makes some suggestions to the solutions of working pressures and psychological health, and expects to make contributions to related studies of human resources management in the future.
