"Da Hua" named from the film "A Chinese Odyssey", means teasing and upsetting the traditional or existing classical discourse order and the aesthetic order, moral order and cultural order supporting behind the discourse order through dismantling, parody, pastiche, hybrid and other forms.Presently, "Da Hua" culture studies are focused on: From an aesthetic point of view analyses some specific "Da Hua" works, particularly the film "A Chinese Odyssey "; From a literary point of view analyses a series of "Da Hua" works finding the intertextuality among them; Finds out the intrinsical links between the popular culture and the "Da Hua" culture. Very little attention is paid to some social background problems such as "Da Hua" culture's popularization and media's development as well as "Da Hua" culture and contemporary youth culture.The article will select three famous works- the film " A Chinese Odyssey ", the online novel "Wukong Biography" and the electronic game "Dream West" to analyses the relationship between "Da Hua" culture's popularization and media's development as well as "Da Hua" culture and contemporary youth culture, finding the constraint factors on the "Da Hua" culture due to the consumer society and cultural industry, making an in-depth analysis on the "Da Hua" culture from a different angle.
