This chapter starts with a description of the main experiences all through his life, followed with a general introduction of his pedigree, and ends with the investigation of two questionable points, that is, the two aliases he used to have and his twice experiences of being sent to jail.Chapter Two carries out a study of Zhou Lianggong's literary writings, including his eighteen collections of poems and fifteen collected works.Chapter Three lays stress on the study of his cultural activities, presenting a detailed textual research on his creations and giving a brief introduction of his contribution on calligraphy, drawing, signets, collecting of ink sticks, library and book-engraving.
