Zhou Lianggong is a famous scholar in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.He has made outstanding achievements in poetry,literature,calligraphy,painting and printing.He is also rich in collection and appreciation,and plays an important role in the cultural circles of the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.At present,the academic research of Zhou Lianggong in domestic academia has been very thorough.However,over the years,the research on Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy has been very weak.It can be said that the research in this field is still at the initial stage,and few related discussions have been seen.However,Zhou Lianggong as a famous scholar-type calligrapher.He has deep thinking on calligraphy.In this paper,through digging literature,Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy has been studied in depth.This paper mainly consists of three parts:Zhou Lianggong's life outline,Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy research and Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy evaluation.Among them,Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy ideas,calligraphy practice and the causes of calligraphy style are carefully combed.When it comes to calligraphy,Zhou Lianggong pays attention to tablet edition,ancient calligraphy,personality and innovation.His calligraphy advocates guiding practice.Regarding the origin of Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy,he regards Qin and Han Dynasties as his home,goes straight into ancient calligraphy,and does not regard Qin and Han Dynasties as the golden rule,and then comes out with his own intention to form his own unique style of calligraphy.Extensive academic exchanges,broad artistic horizons,profound accumulation of knowledge and lifelong practice of pen and ink make his calligraphy finally form an elegant,strange,thin and clumsy style.His calligraphy has exerted considerable influence on later generations'calligraphy.This article will use first-hand information to make an objective historical orientation of Zhou Lianggong's calligraphy.
