Xiangfu Research Literature Ming And Qing Zhou Family

A culture of family,Zhou family,lived in Xiang Fu, appeared in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. Zhou family is very reputation, there are four generations of the famous literati, i.e. the first generation, second generate on writers were Tinghuai scholar Zhou Wenwei, the third generation, the fourth generation scholar Zhou Lianggong scholar Zhou Zaijun, Zhou Zaiyan, Zhou in etc. Zhou family has an enormous effect in literary and cultural fields. This thesis plans to study on the family’s literary activities to reproduce the family, to redefine the position of Zhou family in the literary circles and to reevaluate the Zhou family’s representative topnotch Zhou Lianggong.The first part outlines research status of Xiang Fu Zhou family during the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. The second part analyze the cause of Zhou family migration and the family third generation scholar Zhou Wenwei’s year of birth. The key points focus on the Zhou family literary activities, including books, block-printed books; social activities; appreciation and collection activities, and point out the change of his motive in engraveing books. In the literary activities, Zhou family is the leader, organizers, participants, they have important influence on the literary and other writers. The last part analyzes the influence of Xiang Fu Zhou family’s literary activities from the aspects of the family’s unique artistic taste and behavioral motivation, to summarize the influence of Zhou family and status in literary history, as well as to reevaluate Zhou Lianggong from a new perspective.
