Discussion On JiaPingwa's Novel Creation And Folk Culture

JiaPingwa is a controversial novelist in modern literary circle and become a phenomenon because of his works diversity and depth. Critics elaborate his works in sociology, history, human nature and psychology. Meanwhile, critics analyze the works contained the rich mystic matter, symbol and mystic phenomenon in religion, philosophy, folklore. Holding my respect towards the predecessor, I try to discuss the relation between JiaPingwa's novel creation and folk-culture, to uncover the mystic veil in his works and further relation between literature and folklore.The paper discuss the relation between his novel-creation and folk-culture in four aspects:I . Folk world and folk-culture intensify the content effectively andbecome to be the integral part of works from reproduction in life etiquette, material life folklore and beliefs folklore to excavation in myth archetype, from grasp of mystic time to purification in folk spirits.II. Special aesthetic style involves the varieties of his writing, and combines reality with fiction and so on.III. Folk culture has great influence on his works, such as establishing plot conflicts, fashioning the characters and revealing folk mentality.IV. According to the relation within folklore and literary and artistic creation, it seems that it is a mission for the writers or the artists to accomplish the dialogue and the integration between national costume and current activities.
