Study On The Birds Word Poem In Northern Song Dynasty

The birds word poem is one kind of the peculiar poems in ancient poetry of China. After the Northern Song Dynasty, the amount of its writing gradually increased with multifarious contents, and its artistic skills also had changed maturely.But at present, the academia pays few attention to it. Therefore, after reading the poem tests carefully and through the literary and scientific analyse of them ,I intercept birds word poem in Northern Song Dynasty to find the features of the whole birds word poem.This paper divides into four parts. In the first part,I define the birds word poem and summarize its research circumstances.In the second part,I sketchily outline the venation of the birds word poem. The third part is the key part of the paper.In this part,I sort two parts of the birds word poem. the single description and mulriple description,especially emphatically analyse the poems which described cuckoos, pelicans and bamboo chicken. In the fourth part,I discuss the characteristic of the birds word poem in Northern Song Dynasty and abstracted its culture value which reflected in seasonal characteristic,agricultural characteristic,regional characteristic and folklore.
