From the founding earlier of the People's Republic to the end of 1970s, however, Schopenhauer was studied as a typical representation of idealistic and pessimism spokesperson in Chinese academic circles. There are full of words of depreciation. A little scholar could objectively appraise the doctrine of Schopenhauer. Until after the third session of 11th CPC Congress, the study of Schopenhauer was becoming gradually more academic and deeper. Therefore some scholars deeply research the concrete concept of Schopenhauer's thoughts——will and pessimism.
