Agricultural heritage is one of the heritage styles among the world heritage which reflects miracle of the nature and brilliant wisdom of human beings. It is defined by well formed traditional agricultural landscape and agricultural production system with long history in addition to those agricultural culture and techniques in common sense. As the development of global economy and the modern science& technique application, traditional agriculture has been losing its status in country economy gradually. On the other hand, the precious value of traditional agriculture has begun to get attention of many organizations, and they began to find some way to conserve the traditional agriculture system. In 2002 FAO and other 5 international organizations, such as UNDP promoted GIAHS project to conserve these fragile agriculture systems in the whole world and in 2005 five old agricultural pilot sites from global scale were selected to be the GIAHS initiative. The main tasks of agricultural heritage research are to conserve the agricultural heritage, use it in sustainable way and give human beings more chance to adapt to the environment, of which the way how to conserve the heritage is the most important one. Based on the precious value of agricultural heritage and the significance of the heritage conservation, this paper studies the conservation-oriented models of agricultural heritage, including the concept as well as the framework of the agricultural heritage system. The first pilot site of China-"rice-fish system"in Qingtian County has been taken as a case to illustrate the tourism development is a good way to conserve the system and affords many references to the whole study.1) The concept of the conservation-oriented development of agricultural heritage has been introduced in this paper. By analyzing the concept it elicits the connotation of the system, and it is defined by a dynamic process in which the multi-stakeholder mechanism has been formed including government, experts and farmers and so on, and in a certain time and space, the rational and co-subject development is made according to the local specific natural and cultural landscape in order to conserve the agricultural heritage system.2) The ways how to conservation-oriented develop the agricultural heritage and build of conservation models are discussed and the way is dynamically based. There are different methods to make conservation-oriented development as the phase are different, and transition from the commonness to personality varies in different models with the advance of time which can embody the characteristics of the object developed. Among all the development models the tourism development is confirmed by most scholars as one of the optimizing substitute models up to now.3) The conservation-oriented tourism development of agricultural heritage is built taking Qingtian——longxian village as a case. In this paper, two models are built in which one is overall model of tourism development that can be defined as the"Three circles"model (core-buffer-transition); the other is the"stringed beads"model made by the theory of dot and line.4) Taking the second model of"stringed beads"for example, the benefits of tourism development of Longxian Village of Qingtian County evaluated according to the tourists'gross expenditure. The result shows that the ideal benefit of the village is between 78759954yuan and 168976080yuan a year, and each person can get 15443yuan to 33132yuan if 10% of the benefits are allocated to the villagers which can meet their highest expectation of them. In a word, tourism can bring about huge benefit for the villagers and promote them to stay at the village then the agricultural heritage could be conserved.
