| China has been founded on agriculture since ancient times,with profound farming culture.As of the end of 2020,China has 15 Global Important Agricultural Heritage Systems(GIAHS),ranking first in the world.At the same time,118 items have been included in CHINA-NIAHS protection projects.The agricultural heritage systems demonstrate the splendor of China’s excellent farming culture,and also provides a reference for the sustainable development of rural areas today.Nowadays,at a time when China has achieved a comprehensive victory in the fight against poverty and the key to comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas is the general trend,so the livelihood of farmers is constantly arousing thinking from all walks of life.In 2020,it has been 15 years since Zhejiang Qingtian Rice-Fish Culture System was selected as Global Important Agricultural Heritage Systems(GIAHS).The development of agricultural heritage systems has greatly promoted the economic and social development of Qingtian County.In recent years,the rural revitalization strategy has become the promotion of rural areas.An important guarantee for the adjustment of the industrial structure and the continuous increase of farmers’ income.Based on the DFID sustainable livelihood analysis framework,this paper studies the impact of the livelihood capital status of farmers in Qingtian County on their livelihood strategy choices,and on this basis,proposes strategies to promote the development of Zhejiang Qingtian agricultural heritage systems.The research methods adopted in this paper are field survey method,multi-disciplinary method,case analysis method and logistic regression model analysis method.Through field surveys in the core area of agricultural heritage systems in Qingtian County,Zhejiang Province,we have grasped the current status of the livelihood capital of farmers in the survey area,and with the help of relevant domestic research results,the livelihood strategies of farmers in heritage sites are based on the proportion of agricultural income to the total family income.The livelihood strategies of local farmers are divided into four types: pure-agricultural,agricultural-oriented,non-agricultural-oriented and non-agricultural-oriented.Through the 142 questionnaire data obtained through the survey,a multivariate Logistic regression model was constructed to analyze the farmers’ choices of livelihood strategies under different livelihood capital conditions.Through the analysis of survey data,this article finds that farmers with different types of livelihood strategies have different livelihood capital status,and livelihood capital plays a key role in the process of farmers choosing or changing their livelihood strategies.The development of agricultural heritage systems in Qingtian County,Zhejiang Province has been recognized by GIAHS for 15 years,and there have been the following five problems: the aging of the working population has increased the risk of land abandonment;the limited benefits of the rice and fish industry and the sharp increase in external environmental hazards;agricultural production The degree of specialization is low,and the phenomenon of rural households becoming part-time is not prominent;the development of rural financial services is lacking,and the risk resistance of heritage sites is limited;the government has invested high in agricultural heritage systems,but the actual policy is insufficient.From the perspective of agricultural heritage systems,this study proposes targeted suggestions to increase the livelihood capital of farmers in heritage sites to solve the obstacles encountered by farmers in engaging in agricultural heritage systems-related livelihood strategies,thereby encouraging more farmers to participate in the development of agricultural heritage systems.Development.Specific strategies include: first,attract labor inflows through multiple channels,and improve the efficiency of agricultural land use;second,accelerate the integration of the tertiary industry in heritage sites,and maintain harmonious coexistence between farmers and nature;third,increase the degree of professionalization of farmers and promote livelihood strategy choices Diversification;fourth,improve the rural financial service system,and cultivate new farmers of agricultural heritage systems;fifth,attract third-party capital to invest in heritage sites,and expand the brand effect of agricultural heritage systems.Only in this way can the livelihoods of farmers in heritage sites be improved,the industrial transformation of heritage sites can be promoted,and the sustainable development of agricultural heritage systems can be maintained. |
