Since 1980s, the cause of the TCFL has fully developed, and the coursebooks of the TCFL has also developed very quickly, so there are many kinds of coursebooks in the market, most of them are concerning primary level and medium level. Many experts and users criticized the poor quality, and advocated evaluating the coursebooks, and then improving the quality. In 1998, Zhao Jinming designed a list of evaluation on the coursebooks of TCFL, but no one has stepped forward after him and designed a more scientific and efficient evaluation system. Referring to many valuable studies in the field of English teaching at home and abroad, and also in the field of pedagogics, the author of this article will compare the different patterns and theories, and choose the suitable one to design an evaluation system fit for the intensive reading coursebooks, TCFL, primary level .
