The Research On The Chinese Character Design In Chinese Teaching Materials Which Have Only Been Written For Japanese Learner

This dissertation researches into the chinese character design in Chinese teaching materials which have only been written for Japanese learner. Two sets of Chinese teaching materials were selected ,one was compiled by mainland Chinese, the other one was compiled by Japanese. Combining Chinese character background and cognitive rule ,summarizing the rules and shortcomings of character design through analyzing the two materials on character quantities , character selection, character organization. On the basis of analyses, investigating difficulties and requirements of Japanese learner on character learning. Integrating the conclusions of questionnaire and teaching materials analyzed , putting some suggestions on character design.This dissertation is consisted by fives parts:Part one : introduction. Includes the reasones that we select this theme, the teaching materials that we select, the means of researching.Part two: actuality . includes the actuality of teaching Japanese students Chinese Characters and the actuality of chinese character design in Chinese teaching materials.Part three: analyse. setting up a database which contains all the characters of the two Chinese teaching materials. analyzing the two materials on character quantities , character selection, character organization.Partfour: investigation. investigating and analyzing difficulties and requirements of Japanese learner on character learning.Part five: conclusion and thinking. summarizing the rules and shortcomings of character design, On the basis of investigation ,putting some suggestions on character design.
