The Negative Concept

The negative concept is an important question in the logic. The negative word is the expression form of the negative concept in the modern Chinese language. It plays the vital role in people's thought and the speech. To the research of the negative concept, have the stronger theory value and the practical significance. From 1958, the logic preceded the positive study to the negative concept. However the study stays the surface always. The standard of judging the negative concept has not been established. Today the negative concept theories are also not mature. Therefore, this article mainly constructs a standard of judging the negative concept, using the logic analysis method basing on the modern Chinese reality. It will make the theory of the negative concept perfect.The first part summarizes the research results of the negative concept in the traditional logic. It also pointed out the questions that were neglected and not settled by the predecessor. This article makes research and study aiming at these questions.The second part unites the terminology of the negative concept basing on the overview. The expresses of the same concept were not the same in the research of the predecessor .It is easy to make thought confusion artificially. It will interfere with the further research. The article unified the terminology "the negative concept", "the negative sign"and "the negative word" .It was not only benefit to my article, but also benefit to the continuously research of the logic.The third part constructs a standard to judge the positive concept and the negative concept, it can use for the thought and the language intercourse. It have not a perspicuity and effective standard in the logic. It only studied the semantic and the shape characteristics of the negative concept. On their foundation, we summarize a necessary standard——the Yux standard, a sufficient and necessary standard——the Yuy standard.The fourth part uses the judge which was built in the third part to fix up the difficulty problem about the negative concept. These problem including the negative concept whether to have the corresponding positive concept or not; The limit of the negative concept; The numbers of the negative sign for the negative concept; The analysis of the ambiguous negative concept; And the analysis of the analogous negative concept. It will make the theory of the negative concept mature and perfect. The fifth part has constructed a negative word storehouse. These negative words in the word storehouse covered the normal negative words which are use in the research and the negative words which are use in our daily life. Constructing this kind of negative words storehouse, it was not only to be use in instructing the logic teaching, but also can direct our speech.The last part studied pragmatic of the negative word. It can make the expression accurately clearly and artistically. Therefore the negative word is very important in the intercourse.The innovation places: Has unified the theory of the negative concept; Has established a semantic standard; Has constructed a negative word storehouse.
