Denying is one of the human mental activities. Human expresses negativity toward reality or affection via many ways. The usual linguistic expression is the negative sentence.Modern Chinese have many negative adverbs like“不、没、没有、别、甭、非、无、未”.Among them, the usage of不’’and’‘没(有)’’is most common and widespread. Modern Burmese have only one negative adverb "(?)". These two languages have many similarities while there are many differences.This article is organized into five parts:Part one introduces the modern Chinese negative adverb and modern Burmese negative word. Part two is the research of negativity of predicate and is specified on, comparative study of the negative influence of Chinese negative adverb“不”and Burmese negative adverb "(?)" on predicate and auxiliary verb phrase. Part three is about the fixed format of negative word and is focused on, comparative study of constitution form of Chinese "V不V", Burmese "V (?) V" and Chinese“不V不V" and Burmese "(?)V(?)V". Part four is the comparative study of negativity tenses and is focused on different tenses in Chinese and Burmese. Part five is usages of Chinese negative word"不"and Burmese negative word "(?)" in declarative sentence, interrogative sentence, rhetorical sentence, imperative sentence and double negative sentences.According to the researches, suggestions are made for Burmese international students who learn Chinese in taking precaution at the time of negative expression at the end of the article.
