Modern teaching methodology says that teaching process is aprocess during which teachers and students exchange ideas, mutually actand make progress together; is the unity of teachers' teaching andstudents' learning. The essence of such unity is the exchange betweenteachers and students. Without exchanging, without mutual action, thusthere exists no teaching. As a special discipline of the integrity of musicaltechniques and emotion expressing and manifestation, the vocal musicteaching embodies its unique features. Because of the speciality, it is veryimportant for teachers and students to produce good and effectiveexchange. On the basis of right teaching concepts and contents, the highquality of vocal music class teaching must be realized through good andeffective exchanges. Although the exchanging activity between teachersand students is objective and always happens in the class, the vocal musicteaching is in such a special situation, whether it can go smoothly andeffectively is a complicated problem and worth our attention and study.This paper, making the exchange between teachers and students inclass as the studying object, theoretically examines and expounds thebasic concepts and features, influential elements, contents and manners ofthe exchange between teachers and students in the vocal music classteaching, meanwhile, combines a large number of case studies on classteaching. Then on the basis of that summarizes some efficacious strategies on the class exchange between teachers and students in vocalmusic teaching, looking forward to making some contributions in vocalmusic teaching and studies.
