This paper attempts to make a through study of 6500 Ci poems written by about360 poets in zhejiang area in Ming Dynasty , and draws the system of 19 rhymecategories used by the poets in zhejiang area in Ming Dynasty。In the process ofanalysis, we discuss the special rhyming characters, and generalize some characteristicsof Ci poem rhymes in Ming Dynasty: following poets in Song Dynasty used the 18rhyme categories in a certain degree; Dividing Ci poem rhyme into HongYin (洪音)and XiYin (细音) ,which shows the difference from Song Ci; The Pingsheng rhyme ismuch more ordered than the Zhesheng rhyme.In the system of 19 rhyme categories of Ci poem in Ming Dynasty, it is alsoflexible in using Ci poem rhyme. Plenty of the contacts with different rhyming categorycontain a lot of actual phonetic materials. This paper describes more than 40 kinds ofrhyme category in Ci poems of Zhejiang area in Ming dynasty, and analyses therhyming characteristics with the phonetics in Ming Dynasty and Wu dialect. Some ofthe rhyming characteristics in the Ci poems in Zhejiang area are also common in thedialects in the Southeastern part of Ming Dynasty. Some of the rhyming characteristicsare great notable in Zhejiang area.
