The Book of Songs, which is classified by its content including Feng (local ballad), Ya (a section in The Book of Songs consisting of dynastic hymns), Song (a section in The Book of Songs consisting of sacrificial songs), is one of significant historical materials of the Pre-Qin Dynasty. Based on the researches completed by other outstanding researchers, the paper, which gives a further research on the 4 poems and the relevant issues of Lu Song, aims to give a thorough analysis of and a further research into LU SONG of the Chun- Qin Dynasty. Some new viewpoints are presented in terms of the historical background, time of composing, authors of these poems. The paper also discusses the culture of ritual and music of Zhou Dynasty in Lu Song. With a view to probing into the characteristics as well as evolutional patterns of literary development of Songs in this period, the merits and defects of poetic criticisms are identified, too.
