Thedevelopment of Chinese language education in Europe gets into the rapid and stableperiod. It has got significantly expanded regardless of content or teaching methods. Inaddition to the above factors, the rise of the new generation of both Chineseimmigrants and overseas Chinese has brought a bright future for Chinese languageeducation in Europe. However, the limitations inherent in Chinese language schoolsand the predicament in national consciousness become more important issues whichwill restrict the Chinese language education. How to realize the own characteristics ofChinese language education in Europe on its existing foundation, to seize theopportunities, develop the Chinese language education targeted in European countries,and make it Converge with local education system. This all have importantsignificance to the Chinese language education both in Europe and the whole world.
