V₁ isfinite verb,can't convey the information of time.so,can't bring any aspect marks. V₂ isnonfinite verb, can convey the information of time.so,can bring any aspect marks.Theability to bringing modified components of V₁ and V₂ is notable different: V₁ rarelytake its independent adverbial, V₁ can take its independent adverbial freely.The positionof object is open. According to the different forms of the complement,we classify it intotwo categories—the cohesive complement and the combinative complement.On the semantic analysis, there are two parts:first, it's the relation between VP₁ andVP₂;Second,it's the semantic reference of complement. VP₁ is usually to describe theway,reason or incidengt of VP₂,and VP₂ is usually to describe the state,result or theduration of the action,accessible place,the number and extent of VP₁. The semanticfocus is usually VP₂. But, in the special pragmatic condition, VP₁ also can be thesemantic focus. According to the different semantic relation of VP₁ and VP₂, we classifyit into two categories—causative and non-causative.There are four semantic referencesof complent.In Modern Chinese,there many ways to introduce verb and complent at the sametime.In this paper, we mainly discuss the relation of the BA construction andVerb-copying sentences.The pragmatic function of verb-copying sentences fall into two categories: It is aconsultative and extraordinary characteristics; It can take account of the backgroundpaper, but the limited space can not be carried out, a brief introduction to the background.What's the real function of verb-copying sentences?Some scholars havediscussed.Some think thart its function is to resolve the conflict between verb and object.According to the case theory,we believe that every word in the sentence that has thephonetic morphology must be given a case. In modern Chinese Complement can't beseparated from the verb,and the subject is occupied by the subject case.And,the word ofobject has no a case, so,repeat the verb to form a verb-copying sentences.
