The Chinese Theme Historical Fictions Of Yasushi Inoue

Yasushi Inoue is a famous Japanese writer after the world second war. He had created many works all though his life. In this thesis, I select the novels from all his works as my research object, which about his Chinese theme historical fictions.The Japanese literary arena flooded with pornographic and violence works after the world second war. Being a serious writer, Yasushi Inoue started a new novel style, which was called middle novel. It absorbed the merit from pure literature and popular literature, then he established his own style.This thesis embarks from Yasushi Inoue's Chinese theme historical fictions; discuss his creation characteristic and artistic technique. How he use the historical data, how he care about Japanese social, his creation characteristic which looked light but really deep meaning. And I try to talk about his comprehension of Chinese culture, of Chinese Confucianism. On one side Yasushi Inoue admired Chinese culture extraordinarily ,but on the other hand he also showed a little disdain. This thesis will analyze the opinion of Yasushi Inoue about China according to the Japanese people all through the ages.
