A Study On Character-Words Of Xinjiang Chinese Dialect

The study on Character-Words of dialect is a contrastive study on modern Chinese dialect lexicon, it is an important research results of the dialect study from the glossary study angle in the last few years. Under the guideline of Mr. Rulong Li 's "the theory of characteristic word of dialect", the paper has made a list of Xinjiang Chinese dialect characteristic word in the use existing achievement foundation. Through the strict contrastive study with the dialect interior glossary and other dialect lexicon, I checked 314 word so called characteristic word of Xinjiang Chinese dialect, these words are classified into two tiers: in the first tier, there are the 200 unique words in Xinjiang Chinese dialect itself; the second includes the characteristic words shared between Xinjiang Chinese dialect and other dialects 114 words in all. Based on this, the paper is trying to know fully the Xinjiang Chinese dialect the basic appearance.on the one hand , the characteristic words are maken an synchronic analysis on the aspect of properties of the words, structures of the second and the kinds of the meaning the words belong to respectively, on the other hand, the characteristic words are make an diachronic study into the inherited words, changed words, new words and loanwords. More over, relating the related historical document material, the paper also find out the relations between the words of Xinjiang Chinese dialect and those in other dialects after research on comparing the Character-Words and other dialectal words in other Chinese dialects.
