Studies On The Character-Words Of Nanchang Dialect

The study on the Character-Words of dialect is a part that attracts much attention in the study of dialect recently. By strict contrastive study with the words of other dialects, the paper is trying to propose the exclusive Character-Words list of the area of Nanchang dialect and give detailed discount of 107 words. Based on this ,the paper, on the one hand, make an diachronic study on the derivation of the Character-Words, on the other hand, make an synchronic analysis on the meaning, part of speech, syllable and their ability of word-building in order to know the Nanchang dialect as well as we can. In addition, the paper tries to explore the relationship among Nanchang dialect and its neighboring dialects through the contract among the general Character-Words of Nanchang dialect and the words in other dialects. Moreover, in the attached list, I list some words of Nanchang dialect which are not embodied or not disposed properly in the great dictionary on dialect of modern Chinese and the dictionary of Nanchang dialect.
