The Study On Several Population Issues Of Qinghai Province During The Republic Of China

In 1929, Qinghai Province was established, during the age of the Republic of China, neither the Kuomintang or other parties, could control Qinghai Province. The warlord of Qinghai controlled the army and the government effectively, and they kept the politics stable.As we know, there were many nationalities, such as Han, Hui, Tibetan, Mongolian, Salar, Turk national minority, and so on.Meanwhile, because of the complex geographical environment, Agricultural economy and animal husbandry economy coexist. Backward agricultural economy, needed great number of people, and the animal husbandry was appropriate for the growth of population.Under this situation, the politics steady, economy developing slowly, nationality conflicting few, and few war, the population of Qinghai Province increased fast. From 1929 to 1949, the population probably increased two times, and this was different from other provinces.
