Comparison Of Word Formation Of 《Meng Zi》 And 《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》

The developmental history of Chinese vocabulary is the course of the continue increasing polyphonic words. In pre-qin period, the development of polyphonic words is at the stage of elementary development; In Han dynasty , its development is very rapid. The number is rapid increasing and word formation is perfect.《MengZi》is a influential writing in ZhanGuo period,whose context includes a lot of oral language of that time, so it is a presentative writing of studuing Chinese in pre-qin period. ZhaoQi《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》is engineering writing of explaining《MengZi》. Its characteristic is that can explain《MengZi》words by using language of that time. We choose comparison of word formation between《MengZi》and《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》and hope to see the development of polyphonic words formation from ZhanGuo period to Han dynasty. This article includes four part :I Introduction: This section gives the brief introduction of《MengZi》and《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》and reasons of choosing this topic.II Judgement standards of polyphonic words of《MengZi》and《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》.III The comparision of word formation between《MengZi》and《Meng Zi Selected Sentences》. we compare formation of compound words and pure words.IV Conclusion: From ZhuoGuo period to Han dynasty ,grammer formation rapidly develop, productiom of pronounciation formation is on the decreasing; syntax formation development is quick; shape formation development is slow ; the development of grammer formation is imbalance.
