Since 1980s, the tourism industry of China has been developing rapidly. Under the superficies of development, it covers an important question that the environment of tourism destination has been destroyed in different degree while it benefits from social and economy. Experts and scholars began to reflect on the development of tourism industry. They have found that tourism development must attach importance to environmental protection. Eco-tourism is the best manner for sustainable development of tourism.Firstly, this paper looks back and sums up the main theories of ecotourism planning home and abroad and then brings forward the principle and contents ofnational geological park's ecotourism planning based on it.Secondly, basing on detailed investigation on spot, this paper evaluates theecotourism resources of NianBaoYuZe National Geopark by using analytic hierarchyprocess (AHP) approach and fuzzy mathematic method. The results indicate that thetourism resources of NianBaoYuZe National Geopark are integrity and abundance.This paper also uses a questionnaire survey to analysis and forecasts theNianBaoYuZe tourist market.Thirdly, the paper designs the tourism image of NianBaoYuZe: it is the naturaland cultural eco-tourism destination that mainly depends on watching and protectingof modern glacier, posteriorly depends on apperceiving of Tibetan Buddhism culture.The paper compartmentalizes the function of NianBaoYuZe National Geopark,estimates the environmental capacity and designs the ecotourism routes, products andexplicatory system.Finally, the paper puts forward the protecting measure of NianBaoYuZe NationalGeopark. It includes the establishment of environmental monitoring systems, designactivities of education and community involvement.
