The Research On Pottery Barn Unearthed From Qin Tombs

Pottery barn models are kinds of special burial goods which appeared in Qin Tombs during late Spring-Autumn Era. In 1980s some scholars paid attention to their specialties and wrote relevant articles. The scholars' research was mainly on their store function and funeral concept, but no one focused on the reason of these pottery barns appearing in Qin Tombs. This paper bases on the collection of these barns from publications to have further research, which shows the reflection of family private property. It reflected the new landlord stratum appearing on the historical stage, which was earlier than other states in Eastern Zhou period. It also became the reason why Qin unified other states and established the centralized feudal society.
