A Study On Marcuse's View Of Human

In the research of the problem about human in the modern western philosophy, the Frankfurt School holds a very important position. Undoubtedly, Marcuse is one of the most famous representatives. He inherited Marx's ideal and philosophy topic on human's liberation, He concerned human not only research on theory studied, but paid attention to the realistic life of people, and faced directly to the contemporary person's living conditions. We can say Marcuse's thought on the theory of human is the core of Marcuse's philosophy theory. This thesis researched and discussed Marcuse's thought on theory of human systematically, and attempted to excavate its profound thought connotation, and through dialectical analysis, wants to reveal its academic value and instructive significance to the real life.The thesis is composed by the following several parts.The first part mainly introduced the social background and the thought origin of the theory of human of Marcuse's thought. The development of the monopoly economic society in 20th century, especially the economic crisis and frequent war, and the series destroy events as the science technological development provided social realistic foundation for the formation of Marcuse's view of human; Heidegger's theory of human's essence, Marx's theory of human's alienation and Freud's psychoanalytic theory were important source of idea of Marcuse's theory of human.The second part focuses on the basic content of Marcuse's view of human, and systematically elaborates three aspects about human nature, human alienation, and human salvation. On the base of analyzing Freud's theory of psychological structure, Marcuse has extracted the essence of human was "Eros". Furthermore, he revealed the people's alienation in contemporary developed industrial society, based on this, analyzed the causes of human's alienation. Especially through the rational criticism of technology, he proposed the program of the rescuing of human, and then, established his aesthetic liberation theory.The third part is mainly based on the Marxist's thinking of human, to dialectically analyze and evaluate Marcuse's theory of human. Summarizes Marcuse's theory of human, at the same time, pointes out the limitations of the theory, and scientifically reflects the guiding role of his thoughts and practical significance on building a harmonious society.At the conclusion part, this thesis makes a brief review and necessary prospects to the mainly contents.
