Historical Evolution Of Previous Mao Ze Dong Ethic Thoughts

Previous Ethic Thoughts of Mao Zedong mainly refers to ethic thoughts of Mao Zedong from spring of 1913 to the beginning of 1921. It is roughly divided into two periods, three sub-stages .From spring of 1913 to summer of 1918, Mao Zedong studied at Hunan Number One Normal School. Under the guidance of Mr. Yang Changji, a teacher who is good at both Chinese and Western philosophy, ethics, Mao Zedong established his unique ethical system: self-realization as its core, spirit individualism as its theoretical foundation, realistic as its prop, the subjective moral law as its moral performance, opposition to Three Cardinal Guides and Five Constant Virtues as its means, its ethical principles-belongs to individualism.On summer of 1918, Mao Zedong graduated from Hunan Number One Normal School. Early in 1921, he became a staunch Marxist. During the three years, ethic thoughts of young Mao Zedong turned the ethical reflection to reality. This period can be divided into two sub-stages.From August of 1918 to april of 1919, Mao Zedong first visited Beijing and Shanghai, contacted with the Marxist Ethics, his ethical concept looked on apparent shift, but since then various non-Marxist ideas had also great impact to him, his ethics thoughts had both light of proletarian revolutionary moral and shadow of many non-Marxist moral.At the end of 1919, Mao Zedong went to Beijing and Shanghai for the second time, because spreading of Marxism has become main stream, Mao Zedong Ethic Thoughts occurred "Copernican revolution", finally established a communist collectivism ethical values. This is its second stage in the second period.Taking a panoramic view of evolution of previous Mao Zedong Ethic Thoughts, it had four characteristics : First, his thick patriotism is a red line running through this process; Second, his evolution of ethic values is companied with the evolution of political concept and that of philosophy. They are of basic synchronization; Third, during that time, many advanced people helped and affected him directly, in the history of China and foreign countries, many VIP had indirect effects on him to varying degrees; Fourth, he was good at reading, sharing, practice, thinking and combined them organically.Evolution of previous Mao Zedong Ethic Thoughts gave us a lot of inspiration. First, we must continuously promote the theme of patriotism education; Second, we must uphold and develop Marxism. Third, we should increasingly propaganda all outstanding personalities in the history and modern advanced models, also emphasis on propaganda methods; Fourth, the youngsters need to integrate theory with practice to improve ability of innovation and practice of their own.
