Kutadgu Bilig is a Collection of poems which was written in ancient Uighur language in the 11th century .Because of its rich contents,deep philosophy and inclusive style, it has attracted so many scholars who were doing research of the ancient history and culture of Central Asia and xinjiang since the 19th century . This book was written as the same time as the influence of Islam was enhancing in Central Asia , so the ethic thoughts expounded in the book was marked with Islam .Mainly adopting the approaches of the Subject of Historical Documents, this paper digs the ethic thoughts in the book , discusses their influences to the forming of the Uygur nationality's common mental state and culture ,and Clarify their significance to the constructing of harmonious society .This paper includes three parts : the first chapter mainly describes the writer's life , the book's contents and the Origins of its thoughts; the second chapter , the main part of the paper ,describes the Islamic ethic thoughts in the book in details and discusses their influences to the society that time; the third chapter focus on discussing their influences to the Uygur nationality's common mental state and culture ,and their significance to the constructing of harmonious society .
