A Study Of Yi-Xiang In Art

This paper get some new comprehension in art phenomenon and art concept in the frame of Yi-Xiang(Image) theory. Especially it analyze some cotemporary matteres and probelems that has taken place in art. And it do new explanation the Yi-xiang theory itself in some degree, and correct some former pursuer's viewpoints.The first chapter of this paper is Art and Yi-xiang. It briefly review the changes of the concept of art, and analyze the sameness and differences between the western concept of art and the Chinese concept of Yi. And it point out that Yi-xiang is the entia of self consciousness and object represent during the artists working or audience appreciating. So art exists in the continuous emergent process of Yi-xiang. And this popular opinion that taking Yi-xiang as art's noumenon is denied by research in the differences between the western philosophy and the Chinese philosophy.In the scond chapter The Emergence of Yi-xiang, the emergence process of Yi-xiang is investigated in this analysis about works` structure. It point out that these process may appear different becouse of the variety of art kinds and the complexity of Artist and audiences state,and deal with some new things that has happened in modern art.The third chapter ,The Kinds of Yi-xiang.Yi-xiang is differentiated for four types as Shi-xiang,Yu-xiang,Wu-xiang,Chou-xiang according to the combination methods of the ego consciousness and the object represent. Thereinto, Shi-xiang is a complementary concept for Yi-xiang theory. It corret fomer investigator's some opinions in these parts of Yu-xiang, Wuxiang and Chou-xiang . And it also discuss some questions about modern atr according to the different types of Yi-xiang. The fourth chapter is Yi-jing.It analyze a series of complicated request for artists, art works and audience for produce of Yi-jing.And it affirm the necessity of insisting on the grade division in art by explaining Chang-sheng(Creating).
